Write observations, not prescriptions
The mix condition, pot weight, species requirements and growing conditions should inform watering. This tool does not infer a watering interval or diagnose a disease from one symptom.
Use a clear example
An illustrative entry might read: “Damp mix, heavy pot, no water added; lower leaf already marked at purchase.” A later entry can describe whether the condition changed. Do not turn that example into a schedule for another plant.
Keep a copy when it matters
The log uses local browser storage, with a limit of 500 observations. It is not synchronized between devices. Clearing site data can remove it. Export CSV to keep a copy; use the delete button only for entries you no longer need.
Keep the result useful
Read the related guides for the reasons behind each decision. Inputs and results are processed on your device. This page does not send your entries to an external calculation service.
